Nature, Spirit, and the Language of Water

I have always been drawn to nature to its silence, its strength and its wisdom. When I sit among trees I feel as though I am sitting with ancient beings who have witnessed centuries of stories. Their stillness carries lessons that words cannot teach and in their presence I feel my own spirit steady. Mediumship is, to me, not only about connecting with those who have passed but also about listening to the living world around us. Spirit is in the whispers of the leaves, in the rhythm of the tides and in the quiet breath of the earth itself.

Water has always held me in a special way. Rain feels like a cleansing of the soul each drop carrying away what no longer serves me, each shower reminding me that renewal is always possible. When I swim in open water I feel both powerful and humbled. The vastness of the sea teaches me reverence: I am small within it, yet at the same time I am part of something infinite. Water teaches me surrender. It asks me to let go, to trust the current and to remember that flow is stronger than resistance.

I believe this is why water and mediumship feel so closely bound for me. Both require openness, both ask me to soften and receive. Just as I listen to the voice of Spirit I listen to the voice of water. In the rhythm of the waves and the pattern of the rain I hear echoes of the eternal.

When I sit with a client I often imagine myself like a river allowing Spirit to flow through me without judgment or obstruction. Messages come like ripples on the surface, sometimes soft, sometimes powerful but always moving and always alive. And like water these messages are never owned, they simply pass through me on their way to where they belong.

Trees, too, are companions on my path. Their roots remind me of grounding the importance of being steady, anchored and connected to earth. Their branches remind me of reaching always stretching upward and always seeking the light. In my practice I try to embody both: to root myself deeply in daily life while also raising my energy to touch Spirit.

Nature, in all its forms, is my teacher. The rain teaches me cleansing. The sea teaches me humility. Trees teach me wisdom. And the silence between them teaches me to listen. Mediumship is not separate from these lessons it is enriched by them. To open to Spirit I must also open to life, to earth and to the subtle messages carried by wind, water and sky.

For me to walk with Spirit is also to walk with nature to honour its rhythms, to bow to its power and to remember that, like water, love is infinite, flowing beyond every boundary we know.
